The Brother® MFC-J6710dw wireless printer is part of the Brother® professional series.  It is popular in environments where you need a large scanning surface of up to 11" x 17” (Ledger Size) and large scale printing.

Most inkjet printers don’t have a Straight-through paper path design.  This feature is typically found on laser printers.  The Brother® MFC-J6710dw allows you to manually feed envelopes or thicker media into the Straight-through slot.

The first set of cartridges that you get with the printer is starter cartridges.  You may want to go with the standard or the new Super High Yield (XXL series) that can print 2,400 pages in black.  Very few inkjet printers are capable of handling that many pages with a inkjet cartridge.
